Terms of Service
Last updated 28 September 2026 · Effective for all accounts from that date
These terms are a contract between the customer named on the Shelfjet account ("you", "the Customer") and Cool Brands Pte Ltd (UEN 202324371E), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered office at 4008 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10, #02-16, Techplace 1, Singapore 569625 ("Shelfjet", "we"). They govern your use of the Shelfjet service at app.shelfjet.com, its API, and anything we provide with it (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms on behalf of the business you represent.
1. The Service
Shelfjet is a multi-channel order and warehouse management system. It connects to marketplace and courier accounts that you authorise (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopify, J&T Express and others), imports orders and listings, tracks stock, arranges shipments and prints labels. Shelfjet acts on your instructions and on the automation rules you configure; you remain responsible for what is sold, shipped and invoiced through your channels.
2. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate business and contact details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for everyone you invite into your workspace and for their actions. Owners and administrators must enable two-factor authentication; we may refuse access to accounts that do not.
- API keys and passwords are secrets. Tell us immediately at security@shelfjet.com if you believe one has been exposed.
- You may not use the Service to sell goods that are illegal in the destination country, to defraud marketplaces or buyers, to scrape or overload a platform, or to interfere with other customers' data.
3. Marketplace and courier connections
When you connect a channel you grant Shelfjet permission to use the platform's API on your behalf, within the scopes the platform grants. You must hold the rights to that account. Each platform's own terms continue to apply to you. We are not responsible for platform outages, API changes, rate limits or decisions a platform takes about your seller account, but we will tell you when a connection stops working.
4. Fees and billing
- Subscription. Plans and prices are shown on shelfjet.com. Fees are quoted in Singapore dollars, exclusive of GST where applicable, and are billed monthly in advance unless a written order form says otherwise. Each plan sets limits (for example on connected stores and users); reaching a limit stops you adding more, never the processing of orders already flowing.
- Payment. Payment is by card through Stripe Checkout and the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your card, change plan or cancel. Card details are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach Shelfjet's systems.
- Free trial. New workspaces get a free trial of the length shown at sign-up (currently 14 days). When the trial ends without a subscription the workspace keeps running as it is but cannot add stores or users until you subscribe. Trial and free workspaces may be limited or withdrawn at our discretion.
- Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail or in the app. A change applies from your next billing period after the notice period; if you disagree you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel at any time; the subscription ends at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Fees are not refunded for partial months or unused time, except where the law requires.
- Non-payment. If a payment fails we will notify you and Stripe will retry the card. From 7 days after the unpaid period ends you cannot add stores or users until the account is settled; orders, stock and shipments keep working. We may suspend access to a workspace that stays unpaid, but only after at least 14 days' notice by e-mail, and we never delete data for non-payment until 30 days after suspension; you can export it throughout (section 10).
5. Your data
Order, customer, product and stock data you import or create is yours. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display it to provide the Service, including sending it to the platforms and couriers you have connected. For your buyers' personal data you remain the data controller (the organisation responsible under the PDPA) and we act as your data intermediary: we use buyer data solely to fulfil and report on orders as you instruct, we never sell it, use it for marketing or share it between merchants, and we redact it when you or a connected platform ask us to. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and, for customers who need one, our Data Processing Agreement.
6. Availability, support and changes
We aim for the Service to be available continuously and we monitor it around the clock, but it is provided "as is" without a guaranteed uptime unless an order form says otherwise. We may change or retire features with reasonable notice; we will not remove your ability to export your data. Support is by e-mail at support@shelfjet.com during Singapore business hours.
7. Security
We protect the Service with industry-standard measures: encryption in transit and at rest for credentials, two-factor authentication, tenant isolation tested on every release, audit logging and continuous backups with point-in-time recovery. No system is perfectly secure; you must also keep your own devices and credentials safe.
8. Intellectual property
Shelfjet, its software, design and documentation belong to Cool Brands Pte Ltd. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or build a competing product from it. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service in a 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost sales, marketplace penalties or lost profit). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.
10. Term and termination
You can close your workspace at any time from Settings or by e-mailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical. After termination or closure you have 30 days to export your data (orders, customers, products, stock and reports) in a standard format; we then delete it within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy, except where the law requires us to keep records longer. Deletion also covers backups within their retention window.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If a dispute cannot be settled by discussion within 30 days, it will be resolved by the courts of Singapore, which have exclusive jurisdiction, or, where both parties agree in writing, by arbitration in Singapore under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). If a clause is unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by e-mail at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
